Information you give us. When you create an account we collect your email address, a username, and a password (which we store only as a securely hashed value; we never store your actual password). If you enable two-factor authentication, we store an encrypted secret used to verify your login codes.

Information from third-party sign-in. If you sign in or link your account using Discord, we receive basic profile information from that service (such as your Discord account ID and username) so we can connect it to your Intrepidus Games account. We do not receive your Discord password.

Content you submit. When you sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or playtest questionnaire, or send a support request, we collect the information you provide, such as your email address, your answers, and the contents of your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our site we automatically log certain technical information, including your IP address and browser type (user agent). We use this to keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits.

Cookies. We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. See Cookies below.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account, and let you sign in securely.
• Operate the website and our games, including playtests and surveys.
• Send you emails you've asked for, such as newsletters, account notices, and support replies.
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you.

• Understand how our site is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. We may keep some information longer where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it.

You have control over your information:

• Access and update. You can view and update your account details from your account settings.
• Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or by contacting us.
• Delete your account. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information by contacting us at [email protected].
• Data requests. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal information, correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email us at [email protected].

We take reasonable measures to protect your information: passwords are stored only as secure hashes, two-factor authentication secrets are encrypted, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication to help protect your account.

Our website and games are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work, primarily to keep you signed in and to protect against security threats. Because these cookies are essential, the site may not function properly without them. We do not use cookies to sell your data.

Our site may link to third-party websites and services (such as Discord, YouTube, X, and TikTok) that we don’t control. This Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to those services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
